Warehouse Associate/Driver

Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associates/Drivers to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the smooth operations of our warehouse, including the receipt, storage, retrieval, and dispatch of tires. Additionally, the incumbents will be responsible for delivering tires to our clients across various locations safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Load and unload tires from delivery vehicles using appropriate equipment.
2. Store tires in specific locations based on the storage system within the warehouse.
3. Maintaining an organized and clean warehouse by properly storing equipment and supplies.
4. Drive company vehicles to deliver tires to clients on time.
5. Conduct routine inspections of the delivery vehicle and promptly report any maintenance or safety issues.
6. Assist in inventory management, including tracking, reporting, and auditing inventory levels.
7. Comply with all company policies, regulations, and health and safety standards.
8. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and maintain professional client relationships.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
3. Previous experience in a warehouse setting and as a delivery driver is an asset.
4. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
5. Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients.
6. Capable of manual labor and lifting heavy items, up to 75lbs.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Must have a good understanding of using GPS and route navigation tools.
9. Basic computer skills for inventory management.
